This course will provide you with a evidenced based knowledge and understanding of the relationship between diet and health and wellbeing, as well as the role of food labelling and other factors in food choices. 

This qualification is perfect if you want to enhance your existing knowledge of human nutrition. It is also ideal for individuals who are in the catering, hospitality, care or leisure industries who need an understanding of what constitutes nutritious and healthy meals. In the health sector, it would be relevant for health trainers, other health professionals and staff in a range of public services who need a good knowledge of human nutrition. It is also appropriate if you need the underpinning knowledge required to apply for a university degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.

 

Dates and times

Once enrolled you can study at your own pace and take the multiple-choice examination when you are ready to do so.

Assessment

You will take an online examination via Zoom consisting of 30 multiple choice questions, this is invigilated by one of our tutors. Once enrolled you will be given a choice of dates and times to take this exam which your are given 45 minutes to complete. 

 

Award

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be awarded a Level 2 Award in Nutrition for Health from The Royal Society for Public Health.
