 Level 1 Award in Food Hygiene Awareness - RSPH

This qualification is appropriate for anybody wishing to have an awareness of food hygiene.

It has also been designed to help the food and catering industries to provide training to a safe level for those who perform 'low risk' tasks such as clearing tables, maintaining stores, 'meals on wheels' and other such similar duties.

It is also relevant to employees working in food factories but not in 'high risk' sections of the plant and people whose work requires them to enter food premises e.g. equipment maintenance engineers, off-site business owners/managers and delivery personnel.

Dates and times

One day course face to face or online.

 

Entry requirements

No formal educational qualifications required for entry onto this course and if you have special assessment needs please do let us know, as there is support available

 

Assessment

An end of course assessment consisting of 20 multiple choice questions. Support is available if you have special assessment needs.

 

Award

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be awarded a Level 1 Award in Food Hygiene Awareness from The Royal Society for Public Health.

Cost

  • The full cost of the one day face to face course is £160.

  • The full cost of the online course is £120

  • Discounts are available for group bookings of 8 or more delegates.
